(Due Wednesday 7/28)
Greeting Card Homework Instructions:
Step 1: Decide what kind of card you want to make, and who you want to make it for.
Examples: - Birthday
- Thank You
- Get Well Soon
- Valentine's Day
Step 2: Decide what shape and fold you want.
Step 3: Make 6 tiny pencil drafts with AT LEAST 1 pattern in each draft. Pick your favorite one and add in colors.
Consider these things as you design:
(A) What does the card receiver like?
(B) What shapes/lines/object/nature inspirations should I use for my pattern?
(C) How should I choose my colors?
(D) Where should I leave space for words?
(E) Does my design fit properly on my paper?
Step 4: Draw a final draft of your favorite design.
Step 5: Take a clear picture of the 6 tiny drafts and the final draft. Email to email@example.com OR send in Wechat.
Here are some examples of greeting cards using patterns.
